Nos passe-temps sont pour la majorit\u00e9 d&rsquo;entre nous, orient\u00e9s vers l&rsquo;utilisation des \u00e9crans et notamment des r\u00e9seaux sociaux. On compte d\u00e9sormais plus de trois milliards de personnes actives sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux. Les plus utilis\u00e9s sont : Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat et Instagram (Kemp, 2019). N\u00e9anmoins, Instagram conna\u00eet une croissance fulgurante depuis quelques ann\u00e9es.&nbsp;Cette plateforme&nbsp;est&nbsp;devenue&nbsp;la plus populaire chez les jeunes adultes. Fond\u00e9e en octobre 2010 par Kevin Systrom et Michel Mike Krieger, elle recense plus d&rsquo;un milliard d&rsquo;utilisateurs actifs chaque mois (Statista, 2019). L&rsquo;utilisation est fr\u00e9quente, de longue dur\u00e9e. Les pens\u00e9es sont r\u00e9currentes concernant le r\u00e9seau social au cours de la journ\u00e9e.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elle a fait des efforts, sans succ\u00e8s, pour r\u00e9duire ou contr\u00f4ler son utilisation du r\u00e9seau social.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La personne se met en col\u00e8re ou devient irritable ou agit\u00e9e si elle est contrainte d&rsquo;arr\u00eater ou diminuer son utilisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Son utilisation du r\u00e9seau social a augment\u00e9 en fr\u00e9quence et en dur\u00e9e.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On constate une perte du r\u00e9seau amical. La pr\u00e9sence de soucis professionnels. La personne se d\u00e9sint\u00e9resse de ses loisirs. Elle se dispute avec sa famille \u00e0 cause de son utilisation excessive du r\u00e9seau social.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilisation de mani\u00e8re excessive le r\u00e9seau social malgr\u00e9 la connaissance des cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9gatives qui en r\u00e9sultent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elle ment \u00e0 sa famille, \u00e0 son psychologue, \u00e0 ses enseignants, \u00e0 son CPE ou d&rsquo;autres personnes. On sait par exemple qu&rsquo;avoir un faible niveau de bien-\u00eatre psychologique est un facteur de risque important dans l&rsquo;apparition d&rsquo;une d\u00e9pendance. Inversement, une bonne hygi\u00e8ne de vie et un niveau de bien-\u00eatre \u00e9lev\u00e9 prot\u00e8gent contre le risque de pr\u00e9senter une addiction. Ces personnes savent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement mieux g\u00e9rer leur besoin de divertissement. Repartir son temps libre sur des activit\u00e9s physiques, manuelles (jardinage, bricolage&#8230;) ou intellectuelles (lecture&#8230;) est protecteur. Ces derni\u00e8res limitent ainsi leur utilisation des r\u00e9seaux sociaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Les jeunes, vuln\u00e9rables \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une addiction \u00e0 Instagram<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les jeunes sont plus vuln\u00e9rables \u00e0 la d\u00e9pendance \u00e0 Instagram. Ils sont plus sensibles au soutien social de leurs pairs. Sur les r\u00e9seaux, ils explorent leur identit\u00e9 en sollicitant l&rsquo;approbation des autres par le biais de partages fr\u00e9quents de photos, lives, posts et vid\u00e9os. Ils se sentent dans l&rsquo;obligation d\u2019interagir aux diverses reconnaissances sociales \u00ab&nbsp;j\u2019aime&nbsp;\u00bb, commentaires, messages. Celles-ci constituent une approbation de ce qu&rsquo;ils font ou de ce qu&rsquo;ils sont. Cette conduite de recherche permanente d&rsquo;approbation les motive \u00e0 rester pendant plusieurs heures sur Instagram. Ils sont en qu\u00eate de gagner du respect et le soutien de leurs pairs. Ils aimeraient \u00eatre reconnus par leurs mod\u00e8les (instagrammeurs, c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9s). La qu\u00eate aux abonn\u00e9s et \u00e0 la popularit\u00e9, est alors lanc\u00e9e&nbsp;! Une \u00e9tude scientifique a montr\u00e9 que les jeunes qui ont une grande popularit\u00e9 ont plus de risque \u00e0 \u00eatre victimes de cyberharc\u00e8lement (Longobardi et al., 2020). Les utilisateurs excessifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compar\u00e9es aux utilisateurs mod\u00e9r\u00e9s ou non-utilisateurs (Ponnusamy et al., 2020). Les \u00e9tudiants consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des utilisateurs intensifs passent plusieurs heures par jour sur Instagram. Ils entretiennent des amiti\u00e9s virtuelles \u00e0 distance. Ces derniers s&rsquo;expriment et interagissent via des post, des stories et des lives. Ces temps d\u2019activit\u00e9s pass\u00e9s \u00e0 nourrir leur r\u00e9seau social peut devenir&nbsp;chronophage. Ainsi, le temps allou\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9viser leurs cours et \u00e0 faire leurs devoirs diminue. En effet, les relations virtuelles remplacent les relations intimes et sociales en face-\u00e0-face. La solitude touche de plus en plus des \u00e9tudiants \u00e0 cause de ce nouveau mode de communication. Le refus de confrontation aux situations sociales r\u00e9elles entra\u00eene une diminution de leurs habilet\u00e9s sociales. Les habilet\u00e9s sociales sont importantes pour l\u2019affirmation de soi, les relations amicales ainsi que pour l&rsquo;estime de soi. On peut donc observer une timidit\u00e9 accentu\u00e9e et une faible estime de soi chez ces personnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se cacher derri\u00e8re son \u00e9cran pour parler \u00e0 quelqu&rsquo;un permet d&rsquo;\u00e9viter la g\u00eane ressentie lors d&rsquo;une rencontre r\u00e9elle. L&rsquo;\u00e9tudiant n&rsquo;est plus habile pour faire face \u00e0 ce type de situation. Mis mal \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise, il risque de se d\u00e9valoriser. Il jugera ses comp\u00e9tences sociales comme nulles. Ces pens\u00e9es et croyances n\u00e9gatives contribuent \u00e0 faire baisser encore son&nbsp;estime&nbsp;de soi&nbsp;personnelle. L&rsquo;\u00e9tudiant qui ne trouve pas satisfaction \u00e0 ses besoins sociaux va chercher \u00e0 compenser ce manque par les relations virtuelles. Certains \u00e9tablissements ont mis en place des programmes pour am\u00e9liorer le bien-\u00eatre des \u00e9tudiants. Un bon climat au sein de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement scolaire am\u00e9liore le bien-\u00eatre psychologique. Certains programmes se basent sur les th\u00e9ories et techniques utilis\u00e9es dans les Th\u00e9rapies Cognitives, Comportementales et \u00c9motionnelles (TCCE). Il s&rsquo;agit notamment de techniques de relaxation et de m\u00e9ditation en pleine conscience (mindfulness) (Huppert, 2009).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>La pr\u00e9vention parentale<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les parents doivent rester attentifs \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation des r\u00e9seaux sociaux de leur adolescent. Si une utilisation addictive s\u2019installe, l\u2019aide d\u2019un professionnel sera n\u00e9cessaire. En effet, si l\u2019utilisation entra\u00eene des r\u00e9percussions n\u00e9gatives sur leur vie quotidienne, il est recommand\u00e9 de consulter un professionnel tel qu&rsquo;un psychologue ou un psychiatre. V\u00e9rifier que le professionnel soit form\u00e9 aux TCC sera un gage d&rsquo;\u00e9fficacit\u00e9. Les th\u00e9rapies comportementales et cognitives sont scientifiquement valid\u00e9es. La prise en charge TCC est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement br\u00e8ve et efficace.
