L\u2019adolescence implique des changements importants en une p\u00e9riode courte. Ces changements peuvent parfois mettre tout un foyer en d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre et les parents ne comprennent plus leur enfant. Un jour, il ressemble \u00e0 un enfant et le lendemain, il fait si adulte. Puis, il y a ces jours, o\u00f9 on a l\u2019impression qu\u2019on est dans une montagne russe, les hauts et des bas sont brusques et franchement incompr\u00e9hensibles&nbsp;!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>En tant que parent, on essaie de suivre, comprendre, s\u2019adapter, mais on peut se sentir perdu et inquiet. On voit bien que par moment il souffre et on aimerait lui venir en aide, mais on comprend aussi qu\u2019il doit r\u00e9soudre certains probl\u00e8mes par lui-m\u00eame, car cela fait partie de son d\u00e9veloppement et de sa maturation. Malheureusement, les ados parlent rarement \u00e0 leurs parents. Beck,<\/a> \u00ab&nbsp;En 2014, plus du quart des adolescents de 17 ans pr\u00e9sentaient un syndrome d\u00e9pressif (mod\u00e9r\u00e9 pour 20,8 % et s\u00e9v\u00e8re pour 5,3 % d\u2019entre eux). Pr\u00e8s de 3 % de l\u2019ensemble des jeunes de 17 ans d\u00e9claraient avoir fait, au cours de leur vie, une tentative de suicide ayant entra\u00een\u00e9 une hospitalisation, et un jeune sur dix d\u00e9clarait avoir pens\u00e9 au moins une fois au suicide, au cours des 12 derniers mois. Le syndrome d\u00e9pressif, les pens\u00e9es suicidaires, et plus encore les tentatives de suicide, sont davantage le fait des filles. Elles sont, en cons\u00e9quence, plus expos\u00e9es que les gar\u00e7ons \u00e0 un risque suicidaire \u00e9lev\u00e9.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"0-\u00e0-quoi-correspond-un-verre\u00a0\">Le cerveau des ados en pleine \u00e9volution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On pense \u00e0 tort que les adolescents s\u2019inqui\u00e8tent essentiellement de leurs changements physiques alors que ce qui influence encore plus l\u2019humeur des ados et leur sant\u00e9 mentale serait le cerveau.&nbsp; Le corps se transforme mais aussi le cerveau qui est en pleine croissance. Il continue d\u2019\u00e9voluer et arrive \u00e0 maturit\u00e9 \u00e0 la vingtaine. Pendant le d\u00e9veloppement, ces changements biologiques induisent des confusions \u2013 aussi bien pour les adolescents et leurs parents&nbsp;!<br>Au d\u00e9but de l\u2019adolescence, la pens\u00e9e dichotomique (tout est noir ou blanc, per\u00e7u comme tout mal ou tout bien) est tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sente ainsi que la tendance \u00e0 voir seulement les d\u00e9tails imm\u00e9diatement face \u00e0 eux (faire abstraction du contexte globale nous emp\u00eache d\u2019avoir une repr\u00e9sentation compl\u00e8te d\u2019une situation). Avec les ann\u00e9es, le cerveau devient plus complexe. Des connections nouvelles permettent d\u2019aller plus loin dans la r\u00e9flexion&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019adolescent se d\u00e9tache peu \u00e0 peu de sa sph\u00e8re familiale proche et ses amis prennent plus d\u2019importance dans sa vie. Il est progressivement capable de se projeter dans l\u2019avenir et s\u2019imaginer adulte. Ils construisent leurs propres valeurs. Celles-ci peuvent \u00eatre tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes des valeurs des parents ou des adultes de l\u2019entourage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certaines r\u00e9gions du cerveau se d\u00e9veloppent plus rapidement que d\u2019autres. M\u00eame si les ados agissent de mani\u00e8re impulsive et confuse, ils commencent \u00e0 penser aux cons\u00e9quences \u00e0 long terme de leurs agissements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par exemple, un enfant peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9ussir son ann\u00e9e scolaire. Mais il regarde YouTube pendant des heures au lieu de faire ses devoirs et se pr\u00e9parer pour le prochain contr\u00f4le de maths. Les pr\u00e9dispositions g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques et les facteurs environnementaux peuvent aussi expliquer pourquoi les ados sont \u00e0 risque aux nombreux troubles mentaux&nbsp;: d\u00e9pression, troubles anxieux, troubles de comportements alimentaires, risque suicidaire, addictions.<br>En effet, tous ces changements psychologiques, physiologiques et biologiques r\u00e9sultent en une instabilit\u00e9 psychologue et une plus grande fragilit\u00e9. N\u00e9anmoins, il sera important de pointer la diff\u00e9rence entre ce qui est \u00ab&nbsp;normal&nbsp;\u00bb et ce qui peut \u00eatre indicateur d\u2019un probl\u00e8me plus important.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">G\u00eane de demander de l\u2019aide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si vous vous inqui\u00e9tez pour votre ado, vous avez plusieurs possibilit\u00e9s&nbsp;:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De nombreux ados n\u2019ont pas l\u2019aide dont ils auraient besoin. Pourquoi&nbsp;? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9, malheureusement, la stigmatisation de la maladie mentale est tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sente dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psy.link\/blog\/2020\/03\/09\/communiquer-mieux-avec-son-ado\/\">Les ados s\u2019inqui\u00e8tent que les autres vont apprendre leurs difficult\u00e9s.<\/a> Ils auraient honte que leurs pens\u00e9es soient divulgu\u00e9es et connues de tous. Ils se demandent peut-\u00eatre s\u2019ils en sont responsables. Il est en effet inutile de se poser ce genre de questions puisque l\u2019essentiel sera d\u2019apporter l\u2019aide n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 son ado, quand il en a besoin. Les parents font globalement ce qu\u2019ils pensent \u00eatre le mieux, leur objectif premier est malgr\u00e9 tout, que leur enfant soit bien et en bonne sant\u00e9. Il faut n\u00e9anmoins savoir, que les inqui\u00e9tudes des parents peuvent para\u00eetre envahissantes pour l\u2019ado. Au lieu de lui apprendre \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre concr\u00e8tement ses probl\u00e8mes, les inqui\u00e9tudes de ses parents ne font qu\u2019agrandir sa difficult\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parfois, ils peuvent avoir besoin d\u2019une consultation avec un psychologue form\u00e9, qui joue un r\u00f4le neutre, non-jugeant. Les psychologues form\u00e9s en th\u00e9rapies cognitives et comportementales sont comp\u00e9tents pour r\u00e9soudre tous les troubles de l\u2019adolescent. Ces th\u00e9rapies sont souvent plus br\u00e8ves que d\u2019autres approches et permettent \u00e0 l\u2019ado d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir des outils rapidement pour l\u2019aider \u00e0 affronter les situations difficiles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Signes d\u2019alarme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Toute personne souffrant de trouble psychologique, se trouve en quelque sorte pi\u00e9g\u00e9 dans un fonctionnement trop rigide. La m\u00eame chose se produit chez l\u2019ado. On va surtout remarquer qu\u2019il souffre psychologiquement, lorsqu\u2019il a changement. Ainsi, il faut toujours \u00eatre vigilant lorsqu\u2019on remarque un changement dans la vie de l\u2019ado. Nous avons ci-dessous point\u00e9 des situations qui devraient attirer votre attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Les notes diminuent consid\u00e9rablement. On peut remarquer que depuis quelques semaines ou mois, elles sont moins bonnes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Il ne voit plus ses amis. Les relations avec les amis changent. Des conflits ou des ruptures de relations. L\u2019ado s\u2019isole plus qu\u2019avant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019humeur de l\u2019ado semble \u00eatre hors-contr\u00f4le. Les strat\u00e9gies qu\u2019il utilisait avant pour se calmer ou se faire du bien, ne semblent plus satisfaisantes. Il n\u2019arrive plus \u00e0 s\u2019auto-r\u00e9guler.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019ado prend des risques d\u2019une mani\u00e8re nouvelle. Il explore d\u2019une mani\u00e8re risqu\u00e9e l\u2019alcool, des drogues, le sexe. Ce comportement le met en danger.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019ado pense \u00e0 se faire du mal. Parfois, l\u2019ado, envahi par la douleur morale, peut avoir envie de se faire du mal pour ne plus sentir la souffrance psychique. Dans ces cas, il faut rapidement consulter un sp\u00e9cialiste.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Si votre ado a des hallucinations visuelles ou auditives ou s\u2019il se sent pers\u00e9cut\u00e9 anormalement et devient parano\u00efde, il faut appeler un sp\u00e9cialiste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qui contacter\u00a0?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Un psychologue form\u00e9 aux th\u00e9rapies cognitive et comportementale (TCC) pourra aider votre ado. Les TCC sont issues de mod\u00e8les et th\u00e9ories qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 valid\u00e9s scientifiquement et qui sont v\u00e9ritablement efficaces. Ces th\u00e9rapies sont aussi plus br\u00e8ves et donc moins co\u00fbteuses que d\u2019autres approches. Le th\u00e9rapeute peut rapidement donner des outils \u00e0 l\u2019ado lui permettant de mieux faire face \u00e0 ses difficult\u00e9s. Parfois, les parents sont \u00e9galement impliqu\u00e9s dans la th\u00e9rapie pour recevoir de la guidance parentale. Tout est mis en \u0153uvre pour aider l\u2019ado \u00e0 surpasser ses difficult\u00e9s. Une TCC permet aussi \u00e0 long terme d\u2019apprendre des techniques qui peuvent \u00eatre d\u2019une grande aide dans la vie. Il y a des psychologues en ville form\u00e9s aux TCC (demander l\u2019approche du psychologue), et depuis peu la th\u00e9rapie en ligne par visio-consultation offre une belle alternative, int\u00e9ressante pour les ados. Quoi de plus confortable que de consulter de chez soi, par son smartphone ou ordinateur. Les \u00e9tudes montrent que la th\u00e9rapie en ligne est aussi efficace que la th\u00e9rapie en face-\u00e0-face en cabinet.
